World's Best Gopher Traps

Have used a variety of items to discourage pocket gophers from decimating our zeriscape gardens with limited success. Reluctantly decided that lethal control was the only solution. The World's Best are similar to gopher traps I used as a kid in Arizona, flood irrigation would bring 'em in, so I knew how to use these. Here in the mountains of Colorado we have 18 acres of trees, rocks and meadows and no shortage of gophers, so this will be an ongoing challenge. Once you figure out how to set these traps they are easy to use. Just follow the instructions. They work.

These traps have solved the trapping of the gophers that do not come all the way to the open hole. The attached cable allows for deep insertion into the run and nearly a success every set. My 5 acres is currently gopher free.

The Get Gopher traps have been the best purchase i've made in quite awhile. I initially thought I had maybe 2 or 3 pocket gophers, but after a week of setting traps i've caught 8 gophers. I put a fair amount of money into rehabbing our lawn, and these are significantly decreasing the amount of gopher activity on our property.

They’re light weight and seem to work for small and large gophers. Not too difficult to set as long as the hole is dug out and ready. Unfortunately 4 of the traps in the box do not work due to poor manufacturing— loop too big, pin/bar not long enough or some other sizing issue so trap won’t hold.
